Hiking w/ Mom <3
Post Five
When I saw the fall foliage this past October, I knew I needed to spend a day in the woods. I had been hiking around during the month of September, but due to being in a show this past month, my time on the weekends was spent performing (not that I’m complaining!). My Mom told me that she was planning on hiking as well on the same day I was planning for, so of course, I tagged along.
The last time I was out hiking with my Mom was sometime when I was 10. It was honestly more like being dragged around the woods by my Mom than hiking around, and I would never stop yapping her ear off because I was bored… regardless, I found my way back into the woods at some point in college, but never got around to hiking with my Mom on the same day. Simply stepping out of the car with her and Boots was possibly one of the most rejuvenating experiences of my year. I really needed this.
Of course, I brought my camera along! Here are some of the photos that were taken on our hike.
^ This one is easily my favorite picture I've taken on film to date. Mom taking her time and Boots running allllllll the way up ahead and back again. Both in their natural state.
